Many years ago as a kid I brought home 2 chicks, at night we placed them in a cage and covered it with a plywood so no animals or birds can harm them, a neighbors kid tried removing the plywood and it fell on the chicks badlely hurting one chicks leg, it ended up getting infected and he died...
