    There are a whole spectrum of colors, black, white, grey, brown, speckled, ones with funny hats, bald heads, etc etc.. I think most are very mixed because I could breed 2 black ones & get white offspring! I believe most of the population in Southern Africa derived from India/ Southeast Asia...

    What is your treatment for worms in the throat? I think I'm having a similar problem. I took a video (below) of the bird it looks like has something really irritating in the throat.

    Well I've been trying the "tobacco tea" - last night, this morning, and we'll do it again this evening................ --it does act like it's dying for a minute after :(

    From my limited experience... (& I have had pipping minus hatching problems, as well as feet & neck issues).... At first, I thought humidity was everything, that they were dried out & unable to hatch.... But I discovered the actual problem was ventilation! If ventilation is fine, they grow...
