my rir hatched these mutts out the other day lol there rir, leghorn, and some other combo. Not exactly sure what the roo is. The dads beautiful so I'm excited to see how these turn out.
Mine's been broody for months now, started last season, she chilled out during the winter and as soon as it warmed up she started jumping on eggs and trying to hatch em again.
I decided to change it up a bit this year, I now have golden comets, bsls, bared rocks, rirs, and nhrs. Composting in the run and the gals are loving it! Also making about 10-20$ a week from local egg sales
season 2! I'm up to 30 birds now. The coop design worked okay but now I'll be using the whole barn for chickens and quadruple size run with dividers to grow feeder grains and alternate runs.

I would be interested about more info on them and possibly want some to replace my meat birds after slaughter. Are they a dp bird? I live in southern Ohio and would be proud to have a local breed. May even try to show later this year if I find the right breeders.
