    my rir hatched these mutts out the other day lol there rir, leghorn, and some other combo. Not exactly sure what the roo is. The dads beautiful so I'm excited to see how these turn out.

    I decided to change it up a bit this year, I now have golden comets, bsls, bared rocks, rirs, and nhrs. Composting in the run and the gals are loving it! Also making about 10-20$ a week from local egg sales

    season 2! I'm up to 30 birds now. The coop design worked okay but now I'll be using the whole barn for chickens and quadruple size run with dividers to grow feeder grains and alternate runs.

    Hey its gonna be a beautiful day today, I'm getting my chick's outside to grab some sun! I'm really excited and I'm sure they will be too anyone else ready to move the little ones to the coop for some fun in the sun? I've been so ready for this!

    Thanks, next time I will dress and eat them for sure. I've never killed something I didn't intend to eat so it was weird not to this time. I'm gonna have to have a long talk to my wife about food and where it comes from she's been hesitant about this whole ordeal. While I feel bad for wasting it...

    Buckeye Chicken Breeders

    I would be interested about more info on them and possibly want some to replace my meat birds after slaughter. Are they a dp bird? I live in southern Ohio and would be proud to have a local breed. May even try to show later this year if I find the right breeders.
