    Chickens not laying eggs

    My hens have not laid in about 2 weeks, and its been raining non-stop. Maybe the lack of constant light throws them off?? Although, we now have a goat so the hens have been eating his food - minerals included. Not sure if this makes a difference...

    Thank you for all the posts. I noticed today that my other silkie has white scaly-looking things (don't know if it is bugs or what) around her neck just below her beak. This is a recent occurrence as I check them twice a day.
