Halfway through the incubating process and my five year old decided he had nothing better to play with, so he turned up the heat on the eggs. Temp got up to 113. Don't know how long it was there but worst case scenario, a couple of hours. 80 eggs down the drain. -

if you have hatched chickens, then you can hatch Quails with no problem. The temperature is the same the humidity is the same just turn them for 14 days. After the 14th day stop turning them, three days later you have Quails. -

Feel extremely fortunate today. After ordering 20 Coturnix eggs online and ending up with 14 due to bad shipping, I found a local farmer who GAVE me 65 eggs. GAVE as in he didn't charge me. And he's willing to buy the ones I can't keep!! Awesome!!! 79 eggs going in!!! -

Sounds pretty awesome. I recently built mine. Here's a pic of it... It is 2'x4' and I currently have 5 birds in it. A male and 4 females. They have tons of space. Good luck and have fun!!! -

I would go with 45+ eggs. Being your first time incubating and all, your hatch rate may be low. The first time I tried hatching I had a 25% hatch. -

Hi guys, I just finished building a quail cage that is 4 feet long by 2 feet wide and 2 feet high. My plan is to keep 10 Coturnix quail in that space. Williby overcrowding them? I'm new to the Quail game and I would appreciate any and all help. -
