I ordered mine from Meyer also 13 total and they are due to ship on August 11th, I'm wishing for maybe one extra but not 17. I just hope they're all healthy in this heat. Good luck with all those chickies
Nice ones, I hope mine arrive in as good of shape. I ordered from Meyer also and I live in Northwest TN. I am supposed to get them in two weeks- hatched out on the 11th but I'm really worried about the heat with temps around the 100 degree mark this weekend. Anyway just thought I would chime in...
Thanks for the responses but there's not a lot of positive experiences, at least not as many as I thought there would be anyway. That tends to worry me just a bit, so I hope to get a few more positive and hopefully no negative.
Thanks, timbermallard7
I was wondering what kinds of experiences people have had ordering from Meyer. I have already placed an order, and my seven BA's, four SLW's, and two BO's are hatching out on August 11 and they said I should get them on the 12 or 13. I'm in hopes that they arrive on the 12th and are all in good...
I was wondering what everyones take on ratios of roosters to hens when hatching out eggs, what would it be? Would it be 2 to 1, 3 to 1, or maybe more? Would it make a difference on temp of an incubator, hatching them under a hen, or any other special conditions?Just wondering.
Thanks for any...
