95% of the eggs are brown the others are light brown or speckled. None are just white. But I also have one Cornish cross.

I bought my first chickens from tractor supply. I did not know or care what breed they were as we just wnated to try raising chickens at the time. Now the whole family is hooked and we would like to know the breed and understand more abour the birds. The pictures are below.

One of my hens has started to get small bumps on her comb yesterday. Today several have similar bumps. I believe it is Pox. Can anyone confirm from the pictures below? Thank you

Thank you for the information. I think you are right on. And one of the roosters has a weak leg and is having a difficult time standing over the last few days. I guess we will need to try to kill them for the meat. Should we be concerned about the injured leg? They are about 8 months old.

I am new to raising chickens. I have 2 roosters and 1 hen (I am not sure of the breed). They are very large white birds with pink legs and feet. They eat and drink very well but are very inactive. In fact, they often lay down to eat and drink. They rarely leave the coop (Actually tractor)...
