I do offer calcium in oyster shell and do give a bit of their egg shells back to them.
I feed premium feed (Kalmbach Farms). I also give them Hen Boost in their water once in a while, to give extra vitamins and nutrients. I don’t feed them much table scraps, but they do free range most of the time.
I have a sexlink girl, only 2. She had started to lay eggs with a flat side! Then, she hasn’t laid in over a month. Sometimes she acts down, and I give her a bath or in a day or two she seems fine. Today, she laid the strangest egg I have ever seen and can’t even find in online.

I have to share my excitement . We gave the first dose of

This February, we got our first four hens: 2 Buffs, 1RIR, and 1 Barred Rock.
Everything has gone great-loads of learning. Each day I worry if I am doing everything right.
I have a hen that sounds similar. She is lethatgic and not coming out of the coop. Took her to the vet and she had a temp of 106.5. The vet gave anti-inflammatory and anti-biotic. She did fecal test. Just waiting for results. Her poop was milky yellow and we did not feel egg-impaction. Any ideas...
