    I'm ordering some hatching eggs that are purportedly being crossed with a female pekin and a male cayuga. Any idea what the babies will end up looking like?

    I woke up to my first baby this morning! Oh my word... I knew they were going to be small, but after hatching so many ducks, I just really didn't realize how small. Oh the adorableness. I have other eggs a'rockin, too!

    this is the first time i've ever incubated quail eggs. i've got nine button eggs sitting right now, it's day seventeen, and i'm starting to hear peeps! eeee! i'm so excited!
