    Hi! Im still trying to figure out what this chick is. It is now almost 8 weeks old, and her name is Ruby... but I am wondering if we should be calling her/him Rudy instead! I can't figure out the breed either! Also, I have an Ayam Cemani, was hoping for a roo, but this one is just now 7 weeks...

    Hi! Do you know if your chick turned out to be a roo yet? Ours is showing no real signs of roo, just a small quiet little hen so far lol, but she's only 6 weeks.

    Aww thanks for asking! Still my most squirly one I have! Lol it thinks every time i pick him up it’s murder time and screams. 🤷‍♀️still no idea if it’s a boy or girl yet haha no red on the comb.

    Oh this one isn't one of my smokey pearls. I only referenced them due to the feathering difference, black specs vs black feathering. The pictures here are of one chicken, different angles. Sorry The smokey pearls are def greying with black specs though, this one is pure white with black...

    Um, i'm not sure on the Smokey Pearls! I think some do and some don't. When I google them I see both. I am new to chickens and not sure of any of the breeds yet haha! The california white looks like it might just have the black specs, not black feathering?

    Hello! I am wondering what breed this beautiful 6.5 week old color pack is. She is white with black feathers, I have smokey pearls that are white with black spots on the feathers. (I thought that it might be important to note the feather info) Anyways, thanks for any help!
