    It's been a busy week and will be an even busier weekend. I did get some lettuce and greens seeded before our rain spell this week. Bought a cheap, portable carport that we are going to turn into a rabbit colony this weekend for meat rabbits. DH and I have damn near divorced over the rabbits...

    I once uncovered a nest of newborn mice in my chicken coop. The chickens grabbed them all and gobbled them up like they'd just discovered a treasure trove of bugs... It was horrifying and fascinating all at the same time.

    I used sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla, almond extract, and a tiny bit of butter. It ended up tasting like bitter almonds. 👀

    What is a glug of vanilla? 😂 I tried to make a sugar cookie coffee creamer last weekend with sweetened condensed milk. It disgusting... Probably going to dump it out. Such a waste.... 🙄

    I made some homemade lemonade this evening... I drink a lot of lemonade, but I really want to do something more with some of the lemons. I'm thinking of some lemon-blueberry muffins maybe.

    You got lucky... It snowed at my in-laws (northern Indiana). We are expecting low 20s tonight. It's already FREEZING outside. I need to go hook up water trough heaters and I don't want to go outside... 🙄
