    Thanks Cyprus, I thought that also but most of the Golden Laced Seabright chicks I have seen pics of are a lot darker than this little guy...but maybe. I guess time will reveal all. I am so impatient. ;-)

    Any of you chick experts have an idea of what this little fella might be? Looks like a male at this point :-( so we will call it a he. He came in a group of mixed bantams from TSC and is about 3 weeks old. I have searched everywhere but can find anything that looks like it.

    Thank you...that's my guess also. Yes, I am very excited I came across them. I have two blue hens out of the group and only want to keep one rooster so hoping the splash is a hen but thinking a roo also so will probably keep him and find a home for the blue roo. I appreciate the help. :)

    6week old Blue/Splash Orpington

    These are pictures of blue orpington chicks I got from TSC. The first I think is a splash and was about a week older than the second which is a blue roo. The blue roo has red waddles and developed a comb but the comb is not as big as the Splash's. Can anyone tell whether the splash is, roo or...
