Last Sunday I put some fresh wood chips that I got from ChipDrop across my hen Penny's small run. Very well ventilated, all outside, etc.

UPDATE: The Pinless Peepers are... kinda working. Ruth is figuring out how to work around them and stay on the attack. But Jerry can get away quickly and Ruth gives up right away. That's good.
But it's not deterring her or changing her behavior. I actually went out after dinner to check on them...
Thanks. Yeah, I do know. In both cases, it was kinda unavoidable.
Reddit suggested trying pinless peepers, which is the one solution I hadn't tried yet. We'll throw some on Ruth tomorrow and let Jerry back out - see what happens.
