    Thank you. The pictures I've found of partridge rock chicks are solid brown. This one was chipmunk marked with dark eyeliner.

    When I ordered my meat birds they included this chick as an "exotic" extra. Second picture is about 1 week old and first picture was yesterday at about 5 weeks old. Any idea of breed and sex? Trying to figure out if it needs to move to the layer coop or stay with the meat birds for processing...

    I can't tell if the foot is paralyzed. She didn't move either one when I touched the toes but the right one definitely works. I'll continue supportive care for now. She's definitely not in distress, she's eating and drinking very well.

    She ate the egg really well and seems to be holding her head up better. But I did notice that she can't seem to use her left foot. The right one works but she is walking on her hocks to move around.

    I ordered it from Amazon so I guess I'll be returning it. I have some eggs that need to go in today so I think I'm going to go by Tractor Supply and pick up another one. Fingers crossed that this one works!

    Yes, lid is on. It's strange, it will heat up to 77 (room temp of 70) but not farther. I think I may just have gotten a bad incubator. :-(

    I just received my 4250. So far it has been plugged in for 4 hours and has not gotten above 77 degrees. I'm very worried that I have a bad system. The digital display says "LO" beside the temp. Does this mean anything? Thanks!
