    Aggressive Rooster! Help?

My rooster has become aggressive and we don't know what to do with him. He's always been friendly until recently. He is in a large coop with nine hens. He chases me around and tries to "ninja kick" me with his collar puffed out. Advice please?

    Wanted: Another laying hen

I am thinking of adding another hen to our family. I would like one that is a dependable layer throughout colder months. We live in the triad of NC so no crazy or extreme weather. Any input?

    Americauna: Hen or Rooster???

Over the last week, I have really watched their behavior and Hot Rod really seems to stay with his girls and the Silkie roo seems to stick to his little girl. If they stay that way, we'll be okay. Fingers crossed!

    Americauna: Hen or Rooster???

If Hot Rod is in fact a rooster, could he and our Silkie rooster live harmoniously if they grow up together??? We already love this chicken and would hate to see him go. :(

    Americauna: Hen or Rooster???

Hot Rod is the black/white chicken. That's the one I have a question about. He/She is not aggressive, yet... Hot Rod comes to us when we bring in treats or even come near the coop. We're just afraid that he will eventually attack our Silkie Rooster.

    Americauna: Hen or Rooster???

We have recently gotten into the chicken business. We bought 4 chicks at a reputable farm and garden store in the area and they were all labeled as pullets. However, I have noticed one of them has different shaped tail feathers, is more aggressive and "her" beak looks different from the others...
