    well the hoover hatchery papers said they were assorted layers but unspecified on what the mix of bords could be.. didnt take long to figure out haha.. out of all the chicks in that trough, she picked 3 she liked the best cuz they looked at her like they wanted to come home lol they were all leghorns and i assume the trough they were in was mixed with different ones haha

    And thats how i got Barb, Teri, and Pepper (Barbeque, Teriyaki, and Lemon Peppee) became my first flock and the ladies used to be so cuddly and lovey til they went outside now they wont let me touch them.. except Teri cuz if im sitting in the run with them, shes the only one that jumps on my lap and then i can pet her chest and neck.. theyre still my favorites lol

    That is so neat! Yeah me first set of hens run away when I try to touch them 🤣
