    How do you move a broody hen

    I havé been following this thread,and last night decided to move my broody silkie to another box and to put Marans eggs under her. I prepared the new box with lots of deep straw, waited til night time and had my girlfriend pick her up. I then scooped up her nest, eggs and all with a pizza box...

    Help

    My three Marans have all been injured by my rooster, it has left large cuts on their hips which have scabbed over but taking a long time to heal. I have not treated them just separated the roo. They seem fine and happy but I'm concerned with the wounds has anyone else had and treated this before.
