I have a female gold-laced wyndotte with a large wound near by her hip. I do not know how she got it. She has been eating drinking pooping and laying eggs right along. When I looked at it today there is no blood just the skin is apart and a large cut. Can I spray some blue mote on it. Also she is quite mobile I looked out the window this afternoon and saw her running across the barnyard with a bug in her mouth. So she is quite active. I am a new chicken owner so I am very worried

Do you have a rooster? Hens can be injured by the rooster's spurs, during mating. I've only had one such injury, but have heard of others.
Yes, you can spray it with blue coat.
Don't worry, chickens are very durable.

BluKote is good for scrapes and missing feathers, but if the cut is severe, I would clean it up and apply neosporin ointment, then BluKote over that. If it is not deep, BluKote is fine. Watch to see that they are not pecking her. If so, a saddle/apron or putting her in a coop cage for a few days might be in order.

My three Marans have all been injured by my rooster, it has left large cuts on their hips which have scabbed over but taking a long time to heal. I have not treated them just separated the roo. They seem fine and happy but I'm concerned with the wounds has anyone else had and treated this before.

If they are scabbed over you probably should just use the BluKote. I would see about trimming and filing down the rooster's spurs and toenails. There are numerous threads on this and the use of chicken saddles or aprons for hen protection if you search at the top of the page.
