I have 5 chickens 4 of which I know are hens, the 5th is confusing. Looks like a hen very small comb and doesn't crow. I have 3 Easter eggers and 2 olive eggers. The one I'm confused about is jumping on the back of the other olive egger and biting her neck. I don't know if they are fighting or...
Hey guys I also need some help. I have a few Easter eggers and they just starting laying 3 days ago. The eggs have been about every other day do far. My one hen who has already laid one small egg is looking a little funny today. She has her tail down while walking around. I picked her up and...
Yea it was awesome. I didn't get any yesterday though. But I know they are gonna start being more frequent. I put my girls outside very late winter when they were 4 weeks old. I had heat at night but it's an old greenhouse so it gets warm during the day anyway. This pic is when it was still...
One of my girls laid their first egg! It is kinda small but from what everyone says they should get bigger. But they are 17 weeks hopefully the other girls start following suit.
Hey guys unfortunately I just discovered one of my Americana chicks is a rooster. I thought I bought all pullets. I can't have a rooster because of the noise he is making and because I know know why keeps attacking my hens. I am upset to have to give him up because I raised him since 1 day...

Lol thanks for the help. What should I do I don't want to crack into any eggs with chicks in them. And I feel bad separating them. And I raised them since day one I would feel rotten getting rid of "him"
Guys I need help too! I bought four Americana's for eggs and I thought I got 4 pullets. I'm not sure if my Alice is an Alex. The chicken to the right of the others. I can def tell the others are girls. Can you please help[/IMG]
I have Easter eggers and they run all over the place and sometimes they have their mouths open and sometimes shut. They are perfectly happy though. I'm in NJ and it's like 85 degrees here I think they are just panting to cool down. They should be fine unless you can tell some real obvious...
