    Has anyone noticed a difference in growth rates among the different colors and types? In spring we hatched out some JMF Whites and they took about 4weeks to feather out. We just hatched some Jumbo Pharaohs and they are just entering their second week and some have complete feathers.

    I’ve kept with feeding the 30% and will do so until about 6weeks. I’ve managed to order two other brands in the 20%’s for when they are older.

    I’m located in NJ near Philly. I’ve seen people feeding their laying bird 16% feed with success, but I’d like the option for something a little higher.the nearest feed store is an hour away. My birds are still eggs right now

    The cage floor is about 4ft off the ground and we live in Suburban NJ. We may have some trash pandas but there aren’t many mink around our neighborhood. I may suspend another layer of hardware cloth below the first.

    Oh, the door is going to be smaller than the opening. We just haven’t framed that part out yet. So what do you suggest for the flooring? This is an outdoor hutch so the purpose was to have the droppings fall through.
