Quail feed brands

Here in Germany, we have a comfortable situation, when it comes to quails.
We have 2 big breeders, who are producing or let produce their own brands of special quail food.
And we have a very big poultry food factory, which also has a product special for quails and pheasants.
All got 26% to 30% for starter and 18.5% to 20% for adults.
Range is also from non-genetic-manipiutated grown, over soy and palmoil free, to full Bio.

You can choose, what your heart and your quails and your purse desire.
I feel a bit of a bad conscience, when I read, that so many of you are struggling to get propper feed

My birds have reached 6 weeks and I’ve switched them over to Kalmbach Full Plume which is 20% protein. The roos have started showing themselves as well. They’ve got a few more weeks until they have one bad day. I’m debating periodically ordering the 30% feed and mixing it with the 20% to ease the cost and still provide a higher protein level. Any thoughts?

Once they're adults, 20% protein is fine. Just make sure they have enough calcium and you're good.
