was doing my evening check, collect eggs, and freshwater - to my surprise, there was a little mouse running around in the coop - will that become a problem? pretty difficult to set a trap or poison.. what happens if his friends move in.? ideas?

an update.. SE Minnesota is -13 c or -18 c with wind chill
keeping the two sides of the coop at just above 0 and -1 c.. had to add some plastic the wind was brutal.. - however I noticed the Quail just seem to congregate in the center there is plastic blocking the wind but not...
I am in southern Minnesota, I'm keeping mine outside, i setup a timed light and a heating to keep the water area above freezing. covered the exposed area of coop with plastic - to keep the drafts and wind out - so far are doing ok
i can't speak to keeping with other birds, - but the number of times I have had to run around the neighborhood because one flew away - you might never see them again if you free-range quail

thanks, i will look when i get home, other than the legs, he seems alert - and tries to move around.. yes, the toes are curled - when i pick him up - seems to try and to straighten legs
i have two more that hatched - just last night. - one us up moving around exploring the incubator - seems healthy and active - the other seems to just push himself around without standing up - not sure if his legs work(?) sometimes gets on his back and just flops around - if I pick him up...
