    Chick Sneezing and Breathing Heavy

She’s still alive and still sneezing. But seems healthy otherwise. They heavy breathing seems to have calmed down. Her nostrils seem to be a little larger than my other quicks so maybe she gets dust inside more easily?

    Chick Sneezing and Breathing Heavy

Thank you! I’m keeping a close eye on her. Honestly I wasn’t prepared to be so attached to the little peepers.

    Chick Sneezing and Breathing Heavy

Yesterday I noticed one of our two week old chicks from Cackle is breathing harder/faster than the rest. She’s also making little sneezing noises and shaking her head. From reading articles, I’m guessing it’s either dust or a respiratory illness. Any thoughts?

Feeling like the new kid at school...

I’ve been reading here for a few weeks and was happy doing just that. But now I have a question. So here goes my intro...Over 20 years ago, I took care of a flock of bantams as part of my job and now I finally have 17 chicks of my own. Learning a lot about this adventure daily. Thank you!
