    I have an old 1930 house on 4 acres and you talk about cold!!!!! No insulation in the living room or dining room ceiling because new sheet rock was put in when I bought it. Maybe I can afford some one of these days ;-)

    I gave a co-worker 26 Marans eggs for her new incubator (just a small Little Giant incubator) 3 weeks ago. As of this morning she had 18 hatched and more in the process. 6 of the 18 are Blue or Blue Copper Marans. If you are a chicken nut like us this is exciting!!!

    Rosewolf22002, I am so sorry for your loss! I never thought I would feel like my chickens are my kids but I do. My chicken pen is so poorly made but it is chainlink panels on 3 sides with 2 on the top and up against my shed. I just cover with plastic in the winter and have tin on the top...

    Yes it does and another cool front this weekend! Yee Haw. The Rains County Fair starts tonight so the weather should be great for Saturday night for the C/W dance. Now if I just had a partner! lol
