    Can't have fertile eggs without a rooster, period! However, you can have a rooster you think is a hen or if you got the hens as pullets or adults and they were with a rooster, it's possible the hen has stored the sperm.

    How could anyone even need to ask! Of course it's not!!! It's cruel and abuse and the person should go to jail or worse!!! If you want to leave you chickens where animals can get to them, then you take the risk of losing them. Take the proper measures to make them safe!!!

    If it smells bad it's likely not just bruising. Healthy tissue should not smell bad. Infected rotting tissue does.

    I only have two hens. Wanted then just for pets. To make sure mu neighbors wouldn't mind, I give them the eggs. A little bribery never hurts lol.

    Do a search on the internet on how to hold a chicken. It's not as easy as you think. Do it wrong and you will get slapped by a couple wings going crazy lol. Yep, I know from experience lol.
