    I had several white leghorns that would chase the cats around the yard. It was hilarious to watch. My BO just do not pay them any attention.

    Dorkings are great brooders and mothers. Couldn't recommend them more.

    I've heard that before but I thought that it applied only to citrus. My hens always get fallen apples from a local orchard and I've never noticed a difference in the rate of eggs that I get.

    Have some BO that hatched during the summer and they started laying around Christmas and haven't stopped yet.

    I had a few BO with some leghorns and they got along but the leghorns were definitely at the top of the pecking order.
