    Rippled Muscovy

What pattern would you say this young drake is? Is this a barred bird, or a ripple? He was fluffy yellow with a darker color tail as a hatchling.I have 2 drakes with this coloration and one black drake out of this current group of ducklings.

Looking for info on safeguard goat wormer for use in ducks

Hi all! I'm just looking for info on how long to treat the ducks water with this product? My ducks are not very tame so giving it to them orally is not feasible. Do you treat the water for 5 days then repeat in another 10 days? Or do you treat only for 3 days then repeat? Thanks for any advice!

Just for fu...boy or girl muscovy?

These are her roommates. They came from a large farm with loads of poultry. They were not handraised and not really handled at all so they were a little wild at first but they are settling in and taming down quickly. Love all my babies🥰🥰🥰🥰

Just for fu...boy or girl muscovy?

It's definitely female. Its the angle of the pic most likely. I took it from above to show her pretty feathers. She's quite proud of them and spends loads of time preening and cleaning. 🥰 I have a drake that is at least 1 to 2 weeks younger than her that is already larger than her and the older...

Its a female. I have a male duckling at least 2 weeks younger than she is and he is huge! Plus his feet legs and head all look very different than my females. Here's a current pic of my sweet girl.🙂

    Rare fun muscovy!

You have really gorgeous birds! Since you have a great amount of knowledge on color and patterns I figured you'd be the one to ask about my new ducklings color. What color/pattern would you say this youngster is? Will she keep this coloration or will it molt out?

So I put a cage inside the run with my duck with one of the ducks yesterday. So far he has paid no attention to it at all other than when it bolts to get away when i walk in to change the water and give fresh food. It scares my duck when it does that and he runs away from it. Then he peeps and...

I was supposed to have gotten all females yesterday. They are quite skittish though and as of now try to hide when i go...

Adivce or tips on introducing ducklings to one another?

I will. Im hoping it goes well. I wanted the little guy/girl to be able to be with its own kind and socialize. As much as i love having the silly little thing hang out with me it needs more than just the company of me and the kids. 🙂

Adivce or tips on introducing ducklings to one another?

I think I might try that. Maybe start with the smallest duckling first and move up from there.
