    Also, to clarify, they burn the soil then till lime into it. Water it down and then put more lime on top of it? What after that? Leave the run dirt? Put down sand? Gravel?

    So, it looks like I lost two peas and have a third who is sick to aspergillosis. I put mulch down on the peas' run, and the humidity and wet probably caused the fungi to grow. Now I'm trying to remedy the coop. Has anyone treated their outdoor coops with copper sulfate and lime?

    My peahen was diagnosed with aspergillosis. The vet put her on an anti-fungal used for people and cats: intrafungol. She was so close to death, neither of us thought it would work, but she's improved and it's been two weeks. She needs to be on it for 6 weeks. Just offering more info in case...

    The two who died had a lot of white in their poop. My sick hen hasn't pooped yet this am. But she has mostly white too. I've been feeding her grapes and eggs. She's not much interested in her gamebird food. I will post when she poops. I don't know if it is something in the environment...

    I did consider gapeworm. The vet did not check, but I did four days of safeguard. Only the one who is still alive is gaping. The other two who died did not gape. Good luck with your babies. They are wonderful.
