    Temp opinions please

Just got my incubator running yesterday, has been running for the last 24hrs and heres what its doing. Temps are holding with a 7 degree swing(95-102) and the "wiggler" is holding a constant 98. Will this give me a good hatch, or is that 99.5 set in stone? Thanks

    Grit

I've been reading about when to give chics grit and noticed how some refer to the size of some grit being "small as sand", so I wondered why not just give them sand? Thoughts?

    wandering birds

I'm curous to know how far will chickens "roam" or "wander" from the coop if left to "do as they please" My concern is I dont want them wandering into the neighbors yard, which would be about 150 yards from the coop location
