So I watched them for awhile and am not hearing anything of course! Here's a pic of my coop and run. Trying to get a video posted in a couple. Didn't catch a lot of it but something to give you a glimpse. There were daily storms around the time so I dont know if that is what stressed her out...
My flock is 8 pullets and one suspected silkie roo. My EE has an occasional sneeze sound but is acting great and eating well. I have a GLW who hiccups (although theres no diaphram in chickens) but not at night and is eating and drinking fine.
I've researched online and it seems like EE is...
I had another that crowed so he had to move on. I was thinking this was looking more like a hen before but those tail feathers make me question... my other bo crowed about 3 weeks ago
Thanks! Ill try to get comb pics on the silkies and know its likely too early. I'm super sad if the wyandottes are roos. My silver and gold lace were all supposed to be pullets, but I suspect both SLWs may be roos because of their tail feathers...
Hi all! New backyard chicken lady here wanting some thoughts on my 12 w old chicks!
Silkies I know may be too early, but why not ask! I'm concerned that my SLW are looking more rooish due to their tail feathers compared to their GLW counterparts... Any thougts appreciated!
Great thoughts! Thanks! I was hoping too to not have feed ruined by the rain. We have 11 birds that will be thinned out after we know who our roos are.
