    Weird seam showing up on one of my Delaware's eggs all of a sudden

    Hello, For the last month, one of my Delawares always lays eggs with a cross-shaped seam on the pointy end. She is a year old and never did it before this. Any ideas? Is it an early indication of infection? She seems perfectly healthy. Thank you for the help.

    Thanks. That is comforting. It does seem odd thought that she used to roost and now, when it's getting colder, she doesn't want to be on the roost with the other three. She seems fine though.
