I have 4 ducks and a pond that's about 7X10 that we dug and use black pond paper. It stays dirty (green) and we constantly (every 2-3 days) have to use a 5 gallon bucket to get the water out. Does anyone know of an easier way to filter the water? Thanks
I have 2 Pekin ducks that are about 5 or 6 weeks old. I don't know if they are male or female. One of them quacks and the other one chirps so I was thinking I had one of each but not so sure anymore. They both look like they have drake feathers??? Could someone please help? Thanks
I have 5 week old chicks and would like to know if I can feed them the tops of strawberries. They are outside and they have only had chick feed so far. Thanks
I have two khaki ducklings that are just over a week old. Can you tell their gender by color? One is a lighter brown and the other is darker and it's head is almost black.

They are going outside during the day and have lots of room to run but still coming in at night where they don't have a lot of room. We are working on getting them outside at night to bit the coop is not completely finished and I want to make sure that no predators can get to them. They are...
That's why I was confused because I have another one almost the same color that is a male. He chest bumps and fights and his comb is red so I am almost certain it is a male. Of course I am fairly new to raising chickens do there is a chance I could be wrong. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the info. I took the aggressive one out for the day and put him back in and they are doing better. They do need a bigger space and we are currently building them a bigger coop with lots of yard space.
They are chest bumping and pulling feathers out. One had the other by the neck last night and I am really worried one is going to get killed. I took the aggressive one out last night and introduced them again today outside in a bigger area but they started plucking on each other again.
I bought chickens from the store and they were not sexed so I just took a chance. I think I have more roosters now than hens. They are fighting and I want to separate them. I was told they were Easter eggers and they are a little over 4 weeks old...they have almost all their feathers in. Please...
