Gosh you guys, Im so torn as to what to do with this bird. I dont want to give it up so that someone can make food out of it, but yet I dont want to keep it, limit its food and ultimately have it suffer. I get to go to work now and think about it all day while trying to get my work done.

Ty Itsy. I have had about half of the people that have answered say hens and half roosters lol. Looking at the picture with the little knowledge I have, I would have to agree with rooster. But then with the, again, little knowledge I have about feathering, I would go with hen....

Yeah I kind of worded my comment/question weirdly Itsy. I would have never ever taken this bird had I known what it was before it was dropped off at my house. I dont have it in me to raise any animal as food, and feel foolish for having posted on the " meat board" lol.

Thanks guys. I was reading that they dont usually live very long I was outside with this bird last night and it sits right up against me unlike my other birds. It would figure this will either be a bird that I cant keep, or a bird that doesnt live very long <sigh>.
