    I have a young chicken 11 weeks. No one's been able to tell me what breed it is. It looks a lot like an araucana. Can anyone tell me if it is? It's rumpless as far as I can tell, but no tufts. And if it's a pullet or roo too please.

    I've read that for chickens the hen is the one that determines the sex. You should look into it. :)

    Yes your probably right that it's a mixed breed. The brooder was various chicks. I was curious, it's a crazy looking chick. But extremely freindly follows,me where ever I go. Always wants to be picked up.

    I got it at Atwoods. It's a farm supply store. I am at a loss of what it is. It's tail is still the same, and it is now fully feathered. No puffy cheeks. The bottom of its feet are white. I think it's a pullet. But this is only because of its legs.

    I bought 1 dozen BBS Ameraucana hatching eggs. 11 hatched Saturday, which I thought was good. Are there way to grades chicks? I just want to know if these are good quality Ameraucana's. Here's a few pictures

    Dies anyone know what breed my chicken might be? Pea comb, and rumpless as far as I can tell. His/ her tail feathers go down. Any help is greatly appreciated! It's 10 weeks old.
