I have met many Americaunas with out tails. Interesting. Yes where did you get it? If you got it from a breeder you could probably ask them. If you got it from a TSC there is a good chance it is not what the ben said it was. They are known for making mistakes like that.But Ameraucanas have tails :/ , @TTHEESEN
I would wait another week to make sure it is rumpless. Does is have puffy cheeks? Also where did you get it?
