I have 2 BB turkeys and 2 Nigerian dwarf goats in a 60x50 yard. Most of the yard stays shaded and I have dirt & oak leaves and brought in cedar mulch to help w mud and make a soft surface. I usually hose down the poop at least twice a day into the mulch. Is this sufficient cleaning? I thought...

Mine don’t especially like their head scratched, but looove under wing and down the back scratches! Do the nom, nom thing and wheeze and groan and stretch. At first they were like, what are you doing? Now they beg for it!

I wondered the same thing, mine are 9 mos. The best info I found said usually 3-5yrs. They have great personalities, but my male is having feet issues. He is 60lbs and getting him off his feet to treat them has been a journey!

I have a male and female BB, she started laying eggs, but doesn’t sit on them. I just pick them up bc she will either step on them (which attracts ants) or I don’t want snakes and critters coming in to eat them!
