    I had to buy chicken saddles or aprons off of Amazon because my rooster was doing the same thing to my hens they work really well. The chickens don’t like them at first, but they get used to them and it takes a little bit for the feathers to grow back so be patient.

    It is at the tip of the upper beak ,but it hasn’t broken off it bent inwards so he isn’t able to close his mouth , I guess it’s more of a crack .     Thanks for the reply I am probably overly worried but I love him and he looks so sad . We will see how he is doing tomorrow.

    Mama hen off her eggs overnight at ~19 days. Will they hatch??

    My hen hatched 3 out of 10 eggs 3 days ago . I did the warm water test on the remaining eggs and could see movement on 6 of them she doesn’t seem to want to stay on the nest now should I go invest on an incubator? Or just leave them alone since I live in az and it is supposed to be 106 today ?
