I knew it!!!!!
I feel so terrible now for letting him do it but I think I was in SHOCK!
*ugh*
Thanks everyone and yes, my chickens are used to being held. Just not like that. The owrst part was that it scared my kids.
Our chickens are life family and when we hold them, we're always gentle and I just pick them up with 2 hands and they're fine.
My mother and her bf came by this weekend and he insisted the "proper" way to hold any chicken was upside down by the legs.:|
He did it to one of my chickens and it...
Actually, all of my chickens are supposed to be pure bred. I got them all from MMH about 5 months ago. When I got them I ordered the "Assorted Purebred Bantams."
I received probably 90% of cochins. They're all nice though, I love them but sheesh.
Thank you all. I have no clue what breed she is! LOL I ordered a Bantam mix from MMH. She was especially cute when she first got here. She stood out from the rest, was just a little fluffball!
I guess I'll have to wait and see if she lays an egg!

Thanks. She is my sons favorite. She has a sweet attitude and she seems a little "chicken." Like, when I walk into the coop she runs off and the 2 roos we have don't. Usually.
But she has that red comb and is SO much bigger than the rest I was beginning to question.
This chicken doesn't "act" like a roo but is obviously bigger than the rest of my chickens but in a fat, chunky hen way. LOL. Please tell me she is a she. She is about 2 months old.
