    I never knew it was so hard looking for quail around here.... im not ready yet. But did I miss anything a few yrs ago about quail? It was really easy to find eggs or birds. Now it seems like theres nothing around anymore...?

    Thats what I was looking at doing. I like shellac for things like this. But I was worried about affecting the eggs. But I guess a couple days of running with vents open all the way would clear out any future vapor.

    Im sorry I was vauge in what I was asking. Im wondering what to use to seal the wood. I would think that exposure to constant heat and humidity would after time soak into the wood. And warp the wood. Possibly delminating plywood.

    My walmart combo reads good. I have a mercury therm too. I just test the setu up before putting it in. It reads 3 deg off. So I adjust what I see by 3. And the hydro is acctualy spot on.

    Poor sir sparkels (dont ask) is a mystery roo. Large comb and the red is now turning yellow on the tips.... Anything I could put on frot bitten combs?? And chili smells great on a cold day. Its 6 below here now.
