    I never knew it was so hard looking for quail around here.... im not ready yet. But did I miss anything a few yrs ago about quail? It was really easy to find eggs or birds. Now it seems like theres nothing around anymore...?

    Thats what I was looking at doing. I like shellac for things like this. But I was worried about affecting the eggs. But I guess a couple days of running with vents open all the way would clear out any future vapor.

    Im sorry I was vauge in what I was asking. Im wondering what to use to seal the wood. I would think that exposure to constant heat and humidity would after time soak into the wood. And warp the wood. Possibly delminating plywood.

    My walmart combo reads good. I have a mercury therm too. I just test the setu up before putting it in. It reads 3 deg off. So I adjust what I see by 3. And the hydro is acctualy spot on.

    Firstchic you can house the ducks with chickens.... but they like to carry food to the waterer and make duck soup. Least mine always did. And they cant stop talking while they eat. Food everywhere. But I miss having them. So this yr were going to build a sm duck run and coup. For 2 sets

    Poor sir sparkels (dont ask) is a mystery roo. Large comb and the red is now turning yellow on the tips.... Anything I could put on frot bitten combs?? And chili smells great on a cold day. Its 6 below here now.
