    Good Morning, My girls are almost a year old now. In the last week I have noticed that their wing tips are becoming spiny. (I will try to get a pic up). Is this normal or is there something I should be looking for/concerned about? Thank your for any help.

    Sorry it's been awhile. Happy to report Little Miss' foot is totally healed. I think in the process of it all she has become quite spoiled. She liked her foot soaks and attention. So much so she won't go to bed now unless we pick her up and put her in the coop. Silly Girl!

    Update - we have been soaking, iodizing and antibiotic twice a day. Today plug type sore came off. Foot is not as swollen she still favors it but seems better.     . I bought a larger tub at Tractor Supply that the chick waterer fit nicely in, just a bit larger than the base but about 3" deeper. Making the water deep enough for my girls to dunk there whole heads in but they can't swim in. Was a cheap and easy fix.
