    Chick with weak legs

Yes, I'm on a great Facebook chicken care group. I was told to give her 2-3 drops by mouth to start. I put the drops on the tip of her beak. Then add it to the drinking water using the ratios listed on the container. I did do a hobble brace for 2 days, but feel the Poultry Cell did the most.

    Chick with weak legs

I was told to give her a few drops directly by mouth then after add it to the water. Worked great! She's 10 weeks old now and thriving!

Thank you! I'm also getting help from a Facebook group and sent video to the administrator. She recommended the Poultry Cell and then the hobble brace. Yes it's helping! She also recommended the Poultry Cell. I'll attach video of before the hobble brace and you can see her walking and then...

Problem with baby chick leg 3 weeks old

Thanks! How did you splint? I'm assuming it's different than the hobble brace? My chick doesn't appear injured its a leg weakness with feet pointing more outward. But who knows maybe she stressed her left leg somehow. I'm glad your sweet big Bernie is doing well!

    Chick with weak legs

I wanted to comment again about Audrey. I thought she might be having a splayed leg condition so two days ago did a hobble brace on her. The good news is a day later she can walk and not continually want to sit down on her hocks. I wanted to know about her feet as they want to turn outward...

Problem with baby chick leg 3 weeks old

Hi, this is an older thread but wanted to reply. Maybe you will see it. I'm having the same issue with my three week old chick. She was fine then started sitting more on hocks, walking somewhat tall then sit back down. Not ill, able to eat and drink. Two days ago I started a hobble brace and...

    Chick with weak legs

Thank you! I looked up chicken chairs so educated myself on what they are. Audrey can access her food and water. She gets around the brooder...she'll stand straighter at times then sit back down. She doesn't act dizzy and she doesn't flop over. I'm laying off any treats for now. Thank you for...

    Chick with weak legs

Hi, here is the info on Audrey...it's a plastic storage container for a brooder. The lid is mostly cut out with screen put in, I only have two chicks. The one with the issues is a silver laced Wyandotte, the other one is a Barred Rock. Both almost 3 weeks old. The floor of the brooder was...

    Chick with weak legs

Hi, this is my first post. 👋 I need some help with what might be going on with one of my chicks. Audrey is a silver laced Wyandotte almost 3 weeks old and has been doing really well until yesterday. I'm noticing her sitting more on her ankles. She will lie down and sometimes has wings slightly...
