OK so we talked to someone who breeds ducks and she said that the egg was no good it will be still born to get rid of it if it continues to get dark patches, because it will begin to rot and explode in the incubator. Some dark patches are normal once the duck begins to hatch but not that much.
We are at day 30 today no activity as of yet. We had two previous ducklings hatch out that did the same these are. They are

I have several duck eggs in the incubator. They have started to pip with one day left of incubation. Do I need to move them off of the egg Turner and place them on a still trey?. Also one of my fertil duck eggs is starting to get a large dark area on it. It is due to hatch out any day.
There are twelve hens I’m assuming only three or four of them are laying because I keep finding hard eggs in three places and soft in the other. Lol one hen will only lay in the feed storage one in nesting box one under my dads quail cage and the the hen laying softees under a shelf in the coop.
They are RI reds and they just started laying about a week now. I feed them dumor layer feed and a scratch mix along with the shell and Yogurt twice a week.
