    Right, they have access to chicken grit regularly, but are the pieces of rock in 2ns too sharp? Its described as "sharp sand" so I would be concern it could cause lacerations if "sharp sand" is sharper than chicken grit

    Haha I definitely won't let them rot in there 🤢 But from what I understand, a hen would naturally only lay around 12 eggs per year if she was allowed to keep a fertilized clutch and hatch them. But seeing as there will be no baby chicks.... I do have a lot of questions that I can't seem to find...
