    He’s just a baby - he will be a year in March. He free ranges, gets around really well (before this) but I know.. I know they’re not meant to live long but he’s just turned out to be the best boy.

    Would that help anything long term? I’ve made a chicken sling before but it didn’t end up helping.. I just don’t know what to do. My head tells me a huge turkey can’t live without working legs and I need to just call it but I love this stupid bird

    I managed to get one - his right hip is higher than his left and I think the hip is dislocated. He can bear weight but can’t walk. I have a vet appt tomorrow for xrays

    Three babies grown up!

    I’m guessing 🤷🏻‍♀️ Very strange colors compared to my others! I have 6 pearls, 3 pied, 2 lavender. That’s my OG group. These three and then 6 babies - 2 are pearl and 4 are buff.

    Yes!! The squeaky noise!!! I have typically seen the hens do it to the males… like a really really fast run with wings up and then a low low ground run and then right under the breast of another bird. It’s so funny to watch

    Alright - I keep meaning to ask this - sometimes I see my birds (typically hens ) do this weird like low ground run around another bird and then kind of nuzzle under the other Guinea? Anybody seen their bird do this?
