Help Please! Is this Brahma Pullet or Cockrell

Yes, I spend tons of time with them so that my chickens are very tame and most like to be held.

Help Please! Is this Brahma Pullet or Cockrell

That makes me feel much better. I noticed when I went back into the farm store the Brahmas from this same batch had probably 60% with really long wing feathers and 40% short wings, so then I was like either there's a lot of roosters in there or you just can't tell by that. I was thinking of...

Help Please! Is this Brahma Pullet or Cockrell

Hello! Yes I can, so I will probably give him a try. Every time I get chicks I have one. I always give them a few months, but they get mean and I get scared of them. I've heard Brahmas are sweet so I'm hoping this one is..

Help Please! Is this Brahma Pullet or Cockrell

@Frazzemrat1 @Egg Snatcher. Thank you. It's been my favorite of the 4 chicks so far so I sure am hoping for a hen. I've not had good luck with roosters and somehow seem to get one every year even when I'm only buying 4 pullets

Help Please! Is this Brahma Pullet or Cockrell

I know it's soon but I have a terrible feeling this is not a pullet. It's a sweet little baby, but the wings are making me question...and the fact that it's so friendly. I went back to the store and while some of the same aged brahmas had small wings..many had longer fuller wings. I know at a...

    Euthanasia with Dry Ice

@electrycmonk I agree. I wish I would have known that before all of this. Thank you so so much. This day has been so traumatizing. I'm so happy she didn't go scared...

    Euthanasia with Dry Ice

Thank you all who responded. Thank you @electrycmonk for the Ether post. I have to agree that it seemed very fast and peaceful. I took Merriwhether off her perch at night. She was calm when I put her in the container. My husband dealt with the rest, but she never struggled or anything. She...

    Euthanasia with Dry Ice

@cluckmecoop7 I understand. People feel passionately one way or the other about this. I also just wanted what was least stressful for her. I never did it as I just couldn't. You were just concerned it might not be the best way. I appreciate that you have a kind heart.

    Euthanasia with Dry Ice

@electryc Thank you so very much for this. I took her out and held her crying for 2 hours. I never did it. I'm waiting for my husband to come home. He might have this in the garage and this sounds like a better way.
