Here is a picture of my Buff Orpingtons at 10 weeks. The one with the larger comb turned out to be a rooster. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=1090957#p1090957

Are you "ready for HD TV?"

I have HDTV over the air. If you currently get analog TV over the air I would try one of those cheap converter boxes. You don't need to change your antenna either. Yes I only have 3 chickens. I originally had 2 hens and one rooster. Took the rooster back to the feed store and bought 1 more hen. Here is a picture of Mojo Jojo just before we took him back. He is 10 weeks old in this picture. You can see one of the pullets next to him for reference.

    Securing Hardware Cloth

There is a picture of poultry staples in my original post. I've also heard them called poultry nails and fence staples.

Yes we have plenty of racoons. So I'll plan on using the poultry nails. Thank you.

    Securing Hardware Cloth

Hi. I've used 1/2" hardware cloth on my outdoor run. It is attached with 9/16" staples every 6". Is this enough or should I also use poultry nails (pictured below)? The largest predator we have is coyotes or the neighbor's dog. Thanks
