    Egg size!!!

    I got quite the variety today! One chicken laid her first egg, which is smaller than a quarter! And another one laid the biggest one I've ever seen! I put one of our normal eggs in the picture for comparison. Do you think the big one has a double yolk?!

    About 10 days old... I picked this little one out of the female Rhode Island Red bucket because of the pretty stripes on her back. Now that the wing feathers are growing in, they have white tips which my oldest son tells me only males have. So, do I even have a Rhode Island Red, and is she a he???
