Just hatched a couple days ago.

It just scares us cuz she is grabbing their heads and legs

I had a hen hatch some ducklings.One of the hens that is in there keeps attacking the ducklings.she was fine the first few days and all of a sudden she has became aggressive towards the ducklings. What has caused this?

Well we didn't take the drake out and found out he was dragging the ducklings out and killing them.He ended up killing two of them but we removed the drake and I have been checking regularly.

I'm not home and my hubby called and told me another one hatched but she kept that one under her...I'm puzzled why she would kept that one under and kick the other one out?

Yea this is my first go hatching duck eggs and we wasn't for sure exactly when she started sitting on the eggs.i guess I got my answer tonight lol....

She has plunty of food and water I just need to lower it so the chicks can eat and drink as well.i hate the waiting game of hatching lol!we can hear little peeps and i want to just reach under her see how many has hatched lol.
