Oh thank you all for the replies really appreciate it. I have good news she has finally taken a little bit of soggy toast in milk... I am not sure if this is very nourishing for her but she seems to be enjoying it and I guess anything is better than nothing. So fingers crossed she will pull...
I will try to catch a video of her when she makes the noise. I guess that not be much help as it still doesn't tell us what is actually wrong with her neck/throat or lungs
Hi all. My little chook seems to be walking around a little more but she will just look for a sunny soot and lay there pretty much all day. She STILL has not had a single bite to eat.. But is drinking a little fluid here and there. I am becoming concerned again. The air sac is still there maybe...
I actually have just realised she has stopped the neck flopping and is finally able to keep her head up. She may have been that exhausted and traumatized I am not sure but she seems to be slowly improving. I also put some electrolyte in her water. I will try and post more pictures of her soon.
Thank you all your input. She seemed a little bit more alert this afternoon and is taking some water when offered. She is still making a wheezy sort of noise and then a sort of cough especially after she drinks..she is still not feeding. I dont have vitamins...unless vitamins for humans...

Thats what I thought... there was not one sign of blood anywhere just scattered bodies with severed heads and feathers...but no blood..at all. Also 6 chickens were missing completely and one we found far away from the coop also the same. We do not have racoons here. I am from Sydney Australia...
Thank you all for your replies and concerns. Much appreciated. She is still alive and still has the bubble on her neck and it has not gotten any bigger. She sometimes opens her eyes but her head is always hanging down. I have lifted it slightly and gently to place the tip of her beak in a glass...
