Injured Chicken

She is looking better.

The first video - is there a bubble on the other side as well? It's hard to tell.

Second video - she has water dripping from her beak - has she just drank some water? Is she pooping? Chickens can have water drip from the beak when they have been drinking, so not a real concern - just curious.
Yes this was due to her just drinking water..although prior to this she was constantly dripping something slime like with her dead down.

I'm wondering if she has some swelling in her neck. It looked like she swallowed then coughed. Almost like when we swallow and get something down the wrong pipe. It's the bodies way of trying to keep whatever we swallowed out of our lungs.

If she will eat anything give it to her. I would say small chopped up or puréed. I'm sure she has a sore throat so eating isn't appealing. If it's soupy and she drinks it that's fine. Don't force it but soup is an option.

yes she does this when she swallows i hsve no idea why..and makes a wheezy sound.

Hi all. My little chook seems to be walking around a little more but she will just look for a sunny soot and lay there pretty much all day. She STILL has not had a single bite to eat.. But is drinking a little fluid here and there. I am becoming concerned again. The air sac is still there maybe even fine down a little..but she is not making any normal noise apart from something in her throat it sounds like chocking sort or sort of wheezy..it is hard to describe.. I assume this is what is causing her not to eat.. I need to go to the pharmacy and purchase some vitamins for her and soon I think. She wont have egg, chicken feed, oats, whatever I try she wont even look at it.

I will try to catch a video of her when she makes the noise. I guess that not be much help as it still doesn't tell us what is actually wrong with her neck/throat or lungs

Look for something you can add to her water.
Nutri-Drench, electrolytes, Poultry Cell

Extra vitamins may give her a boost to help her feel up to eating.

You can also look into Kaytee exact baby bird formula. It can be used for tube feeding if it comes to that. I've had good luck getting them to eat it as a slurry.

Oh gosh I don't have any expert advice but I wish you luck that she keeps pushing to live and that she'll make it through this :hugs. I hate seeing anything die or get hurt :hit. Please keep updating so I don't worry myself to death!

Oh thank you all for the replies really appreciate it. I have good news she has finally taken a little bit of soggy toast in milk... I am not sure if this is very nourishing for her but she seems to be enjoying it and I guess anything is better than nothing. So fingers crossed she will pull through thank you again to all who took the time to advise me how ever they could it truly helped me out.
